If you have used bbPress to have forums on your website, you have probably been annoyed by the fact that people can not upload avatars to their profile.
By standard bbPress uses the gravatar with which an email address is registered, and if not, they will use the gravatar option located in the WordPress Setting – Discussion. If you want to let bbPress users upload an avatar to their profile in your forum that can however easily be done. All you need is a great WordPress plugin which is named Simple Local Avatars. All you need to do is to search for this plugin in your WordPress admin tool and search for the Simple Local Avatars plugin. Install and activate, and it should be working right away!
