Are you using the K9 Mail reader for your Android device or maybe for your Fire device? Is the following sentence added by default as a signature as you send your emails: “Sent from my Android device with K-9 Mail. Please excuse my brevity.” Do you want to get rid of it? This is how!
If you want to get rid of this message as you send your K9 emails then this is what you need to do.
- Open K9 Mail and enter the Email account you want to remove this signature from.
- Press Settings – Account Settings
- Press Sending Mail
- Choose Composition Defaults.
- Here you can either change the signature or disable the signature!
That was it. Now you can use K9 email without the signature message, or at least rewriting it to something cooler and maybe a bit more personal!
