I hope you are enjoying these daily encouragements as much as I enjoy writing them. Yesterday, I wrote about concentration, and today I want to continue on the same path.
Think about the following words: “Success is no accident.” It is easy to point our fingers at others and say that they were lucky to succeed, but most people do not become successful because of luck. You might be lucky and inherit a lot of money, but that doesn’t make you successful. You might get a fantastic house as a gift, but it doesn’t make you successful.
What is it to be successful?
One of the definitions of success is: “the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.”
You cannot accomplish an aim or a purpose by accident. It can be done through hard work, patience, perseverance, and also, by doing something you enjoy doing.
The football player Pele is the one who said success is not an accident. And he said even more. Just check out this:
Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.
I believe Pele understood something important, and that is what he shares with us by saying this.
