Real Madrid seems to be strong

Real Madrid seems to be really strong this year, at least based on their results in their international friendly matches. Yesterday they won 2-0 against Tottenham in a match were neither Karim Benzema nor Christan Ronaldo were able to play due to injuries.

What makes Real Madrid so strong is also the fact that they have a big group of young talents really eager to play, so whenever injuries show up they have an impressive amount of players ready to jump in on the field. Rafael Benitez, the new coach of Real Madrid, sure has a lot of pressure upon him to impress the crowds and to win a lot of matches, and it will be lethal for him to get a good start on La Liga as it has its kickoff in a few weeks from now. Real Madrid will play their opening match against Sporting Gijon on August 23rd, the match starting at 18:30, and if he does not manage to start with three points, that will be a very poor start for him.

Before they get as far as the season start Real Madrid will play against Valerenga in Norway first, and many people are curious whether last years super talent Martin Odegaard will get a place on the field against the team from his home nation. During the friendly matches he got 45 minutes against AC Roma, but since then he has only been on the bench, even though Real Madrid has mostly changed 11 players in every single match, so it will be interesting to see whether he will get a chance to play in that match!
