How to get an IP address in the Philippines?

Asia

The Philippines is a nation with language chaos due to the fact that it has two official languages, and besides those it has eight accepted languages. The nation has a population reaching almost 100 million and if you want to reside virtually in this nation, read on.

If you want to get an IP address in the Philippines you better sign up for a VPN service providing that. The problem is though that most VPN services do not have servers available in the Philippines, so if you sign up for such a service, make sure that they do have a server there first.

What is a Philippine IP address good for?

If you want to reach, read or watch some content that has been limited or restricted with blocks to people outside the Philippines, an IP address in the nation will help you bypass those and make all that content available, no matter where you are in the world.

Where can I get a Philippine IP address?

One VPN provider offering IP address in the Philippines is HideMyAss. They currently have one server in the nation and once connected to the server you should surf the Internet with an IP in the Philippines, and thus you can bypass regulations and restrictions.

If you want to try this, visit HideMyAss and make a one month subscription. If it does not work for you then just ask for your money back as they have a 30-day money back guarantee as long as you use less than 10gb of bandwidth. More about that in our HideMyAss review.

    • Hello Ric!
As you might know outgoing emails sent from your computer will normally contain information about your IP address, and based on that people can also find your location (approximately). If you use a VPN service your new IP address will be shown as your IP address (sender IP) and not your actual IP at your actual location. I tested this myself with HideMyAss and it works great. Another way to hide your location is to for example use the actual webmail solution of Gmail, because they do not send the IP address of the sender, as long as you use their webmail service. Good luck!
