After scoring in the Leicster City match against Crystal Palace yesterday James Vardy turned into the 8 player in history who has scored in seven Premier League matches in a row.
James Vardy who has lived in the shadow of most strikers in the Premier League for a long time has had his very big breakthrough this season and it is much thanks to him that Leicester City is currently number 5 in the Premier League located only 3 points behind Manchester City which is in the lead.
And since James Vardy has scored 10 goals in total in this season it makes him the top scorer in the Premier League and that makes him a very hot player on the transfer market and currently Liverpool and Tottenham is putting up a fight to get their hands on Mr. Vardy. But, will Leicester let him go? After all he is their most important player and the biggest key to their success so far this season, so time will show if Mr. Klopp and Liverpool will be able to get him, or if we will turn into a colleague with Harry Kane, last years big newcomer in the Premier League in Tottenham.
Earlier today Manchester United played against Manchester City and it ended up with a boring 0-0 result, which was good for all other teams who want to compete for a spot in the top of the Premier League. A team that would like to be on the top but which currently seem to be very far away is Chelsea, who this weekend lost yet another match, this time against West Ham United which is currently placed third in the Premier League with 20 points.
At the second place we can find Arsenal who won 2-1 against Everton this weekend, giving them their third Premier League win in a row and following up on their amazing win against Bayern Munchen earlier this weekend!
Isn’t Premier League and English football simply great?
