Today’s quote is one I have heard lots of times, and it is incredibly important. I love working, and I get really angry if I don’t get to work as much as I want to. I consider myself to be a workaholic of some kind.
Often my desire to work can happen on behalf of spending time with my kids. And if that is so, then it is terrible and I quickly need to make some adjustments. Because it is much easier to build strong children than to try and fix errors later when they have grown up!
It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.
Raising your children and teaching them the way to go is much more important than posting one more article to Steemit. Your children will once leave the nest and live their lives on their own, without us. On that day, we can write as many Steemit articles as we want to. But, currently, our most important task in life is to raise our children so that they can grow up to be strong people, capable of fighting their way in the world.
Often people fight in their adult lives because they had a troublesome childhood. We need to be there for our children and do our uttermost to give them a good foundation in their lives. If they can look up to their parents with respect and joy, we have already given them a fantastic foundation that will serve them well for the rest of their lives!
