Bye bye Benitez – Welcome Zidane

It was not very unexpected as Benitez lost his job as head coach for Real Madrid, and it was not at all surprising as Zinedine Zidane got the new job as new coach in Real Madrid. The big question now is whether or not he will become a bigger success than his predecessor.

Zidane has lately been the coach for Real Madrid Castilla, the second team of Real Madrid, and he has been quite successful, but it can not be said that he led the team to victories all the time. Even though the second team from time to time have lacked results, Zidane was still the natural guy to follow Benitez, and now we are all very curious to see whether or not he will bring the royal team from Madrid to new heights.

The first hindrance will be their upcoming match against La Coruna which will be played on January 9th. It can be said for sure that Zidane will want to start his career as main coach with a victory and that is also much needed if Real Madrid does not want to leave a to big gap to Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, both team in front of them in La Liga with 3 and 4 points.

What do you think? Will Zidane become a success as head coach in Madrid? Will he be able to lead the team to a La Liga trophee this year, or maybe to a Champions League trophee?
