Borussia Dortmund to play Odds in Europe League qualification

A little while ago the fourth leg of the Europe League qualification was decided, and after the matches were drawn most people felt sorry for the little viking team from Norway named Odd(s), as they were the unlucky team to face the German giant Borussia Dortmund.

The Norwegian team Odd comes from the city of Skien and they play their matches at Skagerak Arena, a venue with space for about 12,500 people. In 2014-15 they ended up at the third place in the Norwegian Tippeligaen, and currently they are located at the sixth place in the same league. They are for sure not the hardest opponent Borussia Dortmund could face, but often such small teams can turn into giants as they meet giant such as Borussia Dortmund, so hopefully Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel will not consider this an easy win, but come to Skien with his best guys and well prepared.

The first match between Borussia Dortmund and Odds will be played in Skien on August 20th, and the following match will be played in Dortmund on August 27th.

Do you think Odd will have any chance at beating Borussia Dortmund, or are all odds against Odd before the fourth leg in the Europe League qualification? Time will show! Before the first match against Odd Borussia Dortmund will open the Bundesliga with a match against Borussia M’gladbach on August 15th. This match will be a hard one against one of the best teams from the Bundesliga in the 2014-15 season. Between the first and the second match against Odd Borussia Dortmund will play Ingolfstadt, a match they should win without big problems!

We look forward to all these matches, both the Bundesliga and the Europe League matches!
