The best way to watch fubo.tv outside the US
I want to watch the Premier League, Serie A, Champions League, Europe League, Nations League and much more online. I noticed that all of these leagues and tournaments are broadcasted on fubo.tv, but had some problems as I was located outside the USA. What did I do to fix it so that I could watch fubo.tv outside the US? Here comes the solution!
I am a big fan of football (or soccer as you call it in the States) and Copa America has been a fantastic event so far and with the knockout stage starting in a few days I wanted to make sure that I could follow all the matches online. But, fubo.tv does not work unless you are located in the USA so the question is what you need to do to make it work. For me, the solution was to open IPVanish on my computer. This is a VPN provider with whom I have a VPN subscription and I simply connected to one of their servers in the USA which gave me an American IP address, and at once fubo.tv was unlocked before my eyes and I could watch the live streams of all the channels included in my fubo.tv subscription.
Watch Fubo.tv outside the United States
Watching fubo.tv on Android
I have the fubo.tv application installed on my Android phone and to make it work outside the USA I simply use IPVanish again and their Android app. If you do not have the fubo.tv application on your Android device yet then you will need to install IPVanish first and connect to a server in the USA. Then you need to enter applications and then choose Google Play Store. There you select Storage and Clear Data. With this done you can open Google Play Store again and search for fubo.tv. You can then download the application and watch fubo.tv on your Android device abroad.
Watching fubo.tv on iOS (iPad and iPhone)
If you have the fubo.tv application then you just run IPVanish and connect to a server in the USA and you will be able to watch all the action in the fubo.tv app. If you do not have the app yet then you can visit the Apple Store and download it from there. If you can not find the app in the Apple Store then you will need to create a new Apple ID with address in the USA, use that one and then visit the Apple Store.
Watching fubo.tv on Amazon Fire TV (Stick)
To watch fubo.tv on your Amazon Fire TV or Amazon Fire TV Stick when abroad you will need to manually set up your router for this purpose. This can either be done using a SmartDNS service or by setting up a VPN provider manually directly on your router. It is kind of complicated to set up a VPN on your router, so I suggest using Unlocator and their SmartDNS services instead. You can find the Unlocator website here.
Watching fubo.tv on Apple TV
If you want to watch fubo.tv on your Apple TV while abroad then you will first need to get your hands on the fubo.tv application. This can be download from the Apple Store. The next you need to do is to sign up for the SmartDNS services of Unlocator. Once you have signed up you will get access to their DNS servers which you will need to manually set up on your Apple TV. You can read my full article on how to setup SmartDNS by Unlocator on an Apple TV here. Follow those instructions and you will be ready to watch fubo.tv on your Apple TV in a few minutes from now. At the moment the fubo.tv application is available in all nations and all Apple Stores, so it shouldn’t be hard to download the application itself.
